Visit to Cambridge Sept. 29

I just thought this was so lovely.  I want to use the color of the moss in my next painting...
The river we went punting in did not look like this :)

I chose the wrong seat for this adventure.  I was pretty wet by the end of the trip- the punter kept dripping water on me :)  They had an umbrella that I used that helped a lot.

This is Kings College.  They have a lot of colleges at Cambridge.  This is the one I toured around.  Although they didn't let you see much... didn't go into any buildings except the chapel.

This is the Fitzwilliam Museum.  Had trouble getting into this one... our Professor was not too happy...  I think I got some insights into why Dutch flower compositions always seem to work.  So that was fun.

This was the most beautiful thing I saw... The ceiling in the Kings Chapel.

The grass here is off limits!  No picnicking anywhere!

This is a view of the chapel on the left and one of the college buildings on the right.

I enjoyed going to Cambridge.  It was a beautiful day.  Sunny and actually ended up being one of the more hot days here.  I felt that you couldn't really access this place though.  Either you are a part of this school or your not.  And I am not, so I was an outsider.  But the chapel was beautiful.
