Kew Gardens: September 22

Kew Gardens is quite the place.  It is a encyclopedia of plants.  It has the worlds largest living plants selections.  1 out of every 8 plants in the world are here!  It is also the largest Victorian styled glass house.  It was fun to walk around here.  A very different feel than other gardens that we have been too.  It was like going to a museum- a museum of plants!
This was a section with lots of different grass.  I thought dad would like this part.

There was a section of Orchids.  They were absolutely stunning.

These are the largest lily pads I have ever seen!  These two were feeding the plants large "food bombs."  They are in too artificial of a setting.

This section was dedicated to cacti.  It had a feeling of Mexico to it :) in that they were playing that kind of music and had a hole bunch of day of the dead shrines in there...
The cacti below look like rocks!  A good defense mechanism.

This was a tree walk.

Here is the largest Victorian Glass house.
