They brought some original drawings and prints down from their collection in the British Museum and let us look at them yesterday. Ten of us could go in at a time and look at them for about forty minuets. It was super cool. So beautiful. I felt like a true art student studying in London! I also went running in Hyde park yesterday. It was marvelous. I really enjoyed it. Could have run forever there other than an extreme need to use the restroom sent me home. I saw two beautiful English boys on the run who looked just like Ashton before his sweet little curls got chopped off. They were running around chasing swans. After dinner lots of the girls went to Fashion Vogue at some market. I guess a whole bunch of fashion designers were out on the town at the really expensive places and such. I had no desire to go- so I was going to go read and write in Hyde Park. Three other girls ended up joining me and we ended up just talking till we needed to go back for a art 21 showing for class. That was good too.
We live in a really sweet part of London. If Princess Diana were still alive we would be neighbors. One of the streets next to us is where all of the embassies are. They often have guards with machine guns. Which is something since the Police here don't even carry guns. On our street all of the cars are nice. The other day I saw one of our neighbors with a shopping bad from Harrods. I didn't know real people shopped there. I thought that it was just for sight seeing. Supposed to be outrageously expensive. We have the park right next to us and two tube stops close by too. Nice for us.
